The model 10 has been made in one form or another for over 100 years. The Hand efector M&P came out around 1899. It went through several changes and versions and became the model 10 in 1957 when S&W began using model numbers. This 10-7 dates to circa 1982 according to the Std Catalog of SW and shows minor handling and other wear. It is wearing a set of genuine fake pearl grips. If buyer prefers I will swap them for a set of Pachmayr or other rubber grips. $479
