Stag, Elk and other natural materials will have minor imperfections. Additionally due to the contour of the antler or horn sometimes they will not exactly match the contour of the grip frame and may be slightly under or oversized. Add to this the variation in factory grip frames they will not always fit exact. I photograph them on my personal guns and note any variation I see.
